Supporting the Project
If you’d like to work with the team at Digital Health Devon, we have a number of growing opportunities to support us engage with communities, discover new online tools and gain useful knowledge about local Health and Care services.
We even have fantastic volunteer Digital ‘trainers’ who donate their time to helping local people with their digital queries. This could be via regular weekly online ‘virtual drop in sessions’ using Zoom, social media or even 1-to-1 advice and guidance either over the phone, via email or webchat.
Get in contact at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will register your details for opportunities.
Become a volunteer trainer and Digital Health Champion
Not only does this website help you learn useful new skills and how to access local health and social care services quickly online, completion of any module section can give you the title “Digital Health Devon Champion’ and an accompanying certificate.
To become a Digital Health Devon Champion and receive course completion certificates, please log in or register before taking a module. You can then ‘Mark Complete’ each lesson and at the end of each module section will be asked to complete a short multiple choice survey before receiving your printable certificate
As an added incentive for organisations, if any employee or volunteer who operates at your work address is awarded a certificate – it will also qualify your organisation to potentially achieve the prestigious ‘Digital Health Devon Champion Status’ kite mark award for their organisation.
This is a special status attributed to those organisations in the county committed to supporting the people they work with to be ‘digital health’ friendly. They will be presented with a certificate and an award-winner logo to include on any publications or marketing they produce. All we require is a commitment from your newly trained “Digital Health Devon Champion’ to demonstrate how they have shared this training within their organisation and how much of an impact this has had on their local community.
This could include hosting ‘Digital Drop In Sessions’ for the public to learn more about the digital health services available to them locally. We may even be able to support you to achieve this.
If you’re interested in getting involved or helping support the Digital Health Devon Project, or are a healthcare or nursing student in the area keen to support a session as part of your course, please call free on 08000 520 029 or email email@example.com.
