How to use eConsult – Desktop

Click any one of the three choices:

• I want help for my condition
• I want general advice
• I want administrative help (such as a sick-note or referral letter)
• I want help for my child

Step 2

Choose I want help for a condition
Choosing this option, you will be presented with a list of Common Conditions, A-Z of conditions, conditions for your child and Areas of the Body.

Step 3

Once a condition has been selected
You are given three options:
• I want to help myself
• I want pharmacy advice
• I want treatment advice from a GP

Step 4

I want treatment and advice from a GP
If you have chosen the option to seek advice from a GP, you will be presented with an online form to fill in your information and confirm you are a patient at that surgery.

Step 5

Completing the form
Following completion of the online consultation, you will be asked to provide contact details such as a phone number and email address.

Step 6

Next steps
Following submitting your contact details, you will be notified that the GP will be in touch by the end of the next working day.
