Amazon Fire Stick Set-Up Instructions 2021 Variation – Part 1

Step 1:

Plug the USB Micro cable that is supplied with the Amazon Fire Stick into the power adapter.

Step 2:

Plug the other end of the USB Micro cable into the Fire TV Stick.

Step 3:

Plug the Amazon Fire Stick into a HDMI port which will be located on either the back or the side of your TV.

Step 4:

Press the ‘Home’ button on your remote. You will be presented with the following screen:

Please note: If you have trouble with this step the picture below should appear on your screen, try using the remote control closer to the Fire TV Stick, holding the ‘Home’ button for around 10 seconds, failing this we would suggest swapping the batteries supplied for the remote to fresh batteries.

If those steps don’t work, just simply unplug the power supply from the wall that is connected to the Amazon Fire TV Stick, wait for 60 seconds before plugging the power supply back in.

Step 5:

Press the ‘Play/Pause’ button on your remote.

Step 6:

Select your language.

Step 7:

Please select your Wi-Fi network from the available networks displayed on your screen.

Step 8:

Once you have selected your Wi-Fi network, you will be prompted to enter your password in order to connect.

Step 9:

Next, you will be prompted to either sign into and existing account or create a new account. Let’s assume that you already have an Amazon account, follow the steps listed below after selecting ‘Sign In’.
