Health and Care Videos
Health and Care Videos is a partnership with the NHS in Devon. They have worked with local Councils, hospitals, GP surgeries, pharmacies and both the paid and unpaid carer sector to produce libraries of educational health and care videos and helpful resources.

This guide shows you how to use one of these video libraries.
Step 1
Searching for a category
You can search for a category in three ways:
1. Scroll down the page to look through the various categories.
Click on the category you want to view.
Step 2
2. Type the category name into the search bar. Here we have searched for Diabetes.
This will load all ‘relevant categories’ at the top and ‘all categories’ below.
Click on the category you want to view.
Step 3
3. Click on the first letter of the category you are looking for. Here we have clicked on D for Diabetes.
Click on the category you want to view.
Step 4
Once you click on a category, the category page will load.
Step 5
Searching for a sub-category or video
You can search for a sub-category or video in three ways:
From the category page (eg Diabetes):
1. Scroll down the page to view all categories and videos.
2. Click on the link to the sub-category eg “Staying Healthy with Diabetes” at the top of the page.
This will take you to the relevant sub-category and videos.
Step 6
From the home page:
3. Type the sub-category (eg “Staying Healthy with Diabetes”) or video (eg “Coping with a Hypo”) into the search bar.
This will load all ‘relevant categories’ at the top and ‘all categories’ below.
Click on the category you want to view and follow above instructions from the category page.
Step 7
Click on play to watch a video.
To pause a video, hover over the video with your cursor and click on pause.
Step 8
Resource Boxes
Further information, such as national and local resources, can be found within various sub-categories.
Click on the text on the right hand side of the page to load the information e.g. “Diabetes UK”.
Step 9
This will take you to the relevant webpage.
Step 10
You can find our contact details by scrolling to the bottom of the page or by clicking on ‘contact us’ at the top of the page.
This will take you to a section where you can find contact details and submit a query.
Step 11
If you would like to suggest new videos or information for the Library, you can click on ‘Make a Suggestion’ at the top of the page.
This will take you to a section where you can submit a suggestion.
